Canadian born, Josh Newton has been playing hockey his entire life.  He played three seasons of Juniors in the US and Canada, as well as in the ECHL with the San Diego Gulls.  With over 20 years of coaching experience with teams, groups and individuals, Josh is a level 5 USA Hockey Coach, making him an expert in his field.

Newton Hockey offers small group and one-on-one training.  Specialties include passing, stickhandling, checking, faceoffs, shot blocking, shooting, battling, edge work, power skating and muscle memory.  The cultivation of strategic and leadership abilities, in addition to mental and physical stamina, is emphasized.

With 20 years experience, Josh works with young hockey players ranging in age from 4 to 18 to reach their full potential.  Clients can expect a coaching plan to provide elite development and attention to detail.  With his ability to coach beginners as well as Olympic players he will provide a training experience to move any player to the next level.
